Thursday November 5th

More info to come soon

With your support, we will make certain that the voice of everyone who lives, works or relies on the lakes for water is heard when it comes to improving the management policies set for the sale, pricing, and release of water from the lakes.

We greatly appreciate the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations who support CTWC’s efforts to ensure that water stays in the lakes to keep them viable today and well into the future.

CTWC is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the interests of the businesses and residents in the Highland Lakes region. We are the only organization committed to continually monitoring and engaging with the entities that control water management and policy in the state. Our mission is to preserve the Highland Lakes – an irreplaceable natural resource supplying water to over 2 million central Texas residents. CTWC takes a broad-based multidisciplinary approach to water management based on science, data, and best practices.

We rely on donations from area residents and municipalities to cover the cost of hiring hydrology experts, water attorneys, and coordinating regulatory and legislative representation. Without the support of dedicated individuals like you, we would not be able to continue our work and keep water issues on the top of everyone’s agenda.

2012-2013-2014-2015

Post-Memorial Day 2015

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SUPPORT OUR HIGHLAND LAKES AND DRINKING WATER SUPPLY

If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact us at Info@CentralTexasWaterCoaliton.org.

A Message From the President
Jo Karr Tedder

Hopefully by now all Central Texans realize we need to remain vigilant if we want to keep our lakes healthy and productive and protect our drinking water.

With your support, we will make certain that the voice of everyone who lives, works or relies on the lakes for water is heard when it comes to improving the management policies set for the sale, pricing, and release of water from the lakes. If we relax and think state agencies will do it for us, we run the risk of seeing history repeat itself.

As an advocate for sensible water management, we rely solely on your financial support to continue protecting the water and the lakes. I hope you will consider making a contribution to CTWC, participating in our fundraising events and becoming a “Guardian of the Lakes” member.

Our water supply is limited; it’s a precious, irreplaceable natural resource that must be protected for our health and safety, as well as our environmental and economic stability.

Thank you for everything you do to support the CTWC! We are your voice, and we need your support.

FUN TIMES at Bubbles & Bingo 2018 on November 8th.

It was a Fabulous Evening Under the Stars in October 2016

THANKS to ALL of the CTWC supporters and contributors who made An Evening Under The Stars at Star Hill Ranch possible – without them we wouldn’t be able to highlight the importance of proper water management and education of proper water usage throughout the Highland Lakes area. We honored Senator Troy Fraser as a Guardian of the Lakes. Fabulous dinner donated by Cafe Blue, great live and silent auction and great music from Radney Foster!

Money raised will go for hydrology research, legislative efforts, and community outreach in order to make an impact on the water planning and policy decision making at local, regional and statewide levels.

THANKS TO OUR HOST COMMITTEE MEMBERS:
Austin Board of Realtors, Travis Askey, Mayor Joe Bain, Paul Brady, Janet Caylor, Scott Dabney, Comm. Gerald Daugherty, Haythem Dawlett, Ron Doughty, Mike Hodge, Lance Hughes, Steve Jones, Lake Buchanan/Inks Lake Chamber of Commerce, Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce, Laura Mitchell, Emily Moreland, Mayor Caroline Murphy, Judge James Oakley, Mayor John Packer, Jeff Rose, David Vaughn
