Get Involved!

There are lots of ways to engage

Some are easier than you think

Subscribe to the newsletter

Nothing could be easier, and more enjoyable, that subscribing to the CTWC email newsletter. You’ll stay informed on important water issues that impact our communities, and of course we promise not to share your email address with others.

Learn about our water issues

Many are not aware of the severity of our water crisis and how the extended drought is projected to affect our businesses, our recreational opportunities, our property values, or our daily lives. To learn more, explore this website, and check out some of the available resources.

Volunteer

Joining us as a volunteer is rewarding and fun. There are lots of volunteer opportunities depending on what interests you. Connect with us to learn more.

Contact Your Representative

You might be surprised at what a difference it can make to send an email or a letter to your representative. You can let them know that you expect them to support water policies that are in the best interest of the people of Central Texas.

Attend an Event

Come to one of our social picnics, or attend a town hall. You’ll meet some nice people and learn a lot.

Learn about the Highland Lakes

Our page of Fast Facts is a great place to learn more about the seven Highland Lakes, the history, how they were created, where our drinking water comes from, and more.

Conserve Water

One of the easiest ways to get involved is to personally dedicate to engaging in water-conservation techniques, including repairing leaky faucets and pipes, and most importantly limiting the watering of lawns.

Make a Donation

We rely on donations from area residents and municipalities to cover the cost of hiring hydrology experts, water attorneys, and coordinating regulatory and legislative representation.

Become a Member

We love donations. But when you join as a member, you are making an even bigger impact.
